In their place, midfielders Jack McGlynn, Maximilian Arfsten, and Brian Gutiérrez have been added to the roster. The U.S. Soccer Federation did not provide specific details on the reasons for their absence. Cardoso reportedly left Real Betis’ match on March 9 due to an injury and was observed training with a wrapped left thigh on Wednesday, as per reports from Spanish media.
