Kevin Bacon was taken by surprise during the filming of the 1998 erotic crime thriller “Wild Things.” In a recent video for Variety, the 66-year-old actor recounted a memorable moment from the shoot when a dead body was discovered by the cast and crew during a late-night swamp scene. While Bacon couldn’t exactly remember his lines from the movie, he vividly recalled the eerie incident that occurred on set. The body floated into view as they were shooting near a river in the swamp, causing a temporary halt in production until authorities arrived. Directed by John McNaughton, “Wild Things” follows a group of characters entangled in a web of deception and double-crossing as they scheme for a trust fund settlement. Despite initially dismissing the script as trashy, Bacon found himself drawn into the story’s unexpected twists and turns. Watch Bacon share his experience in the video above.
