Kathy Griffin recently revealed a health scare she faced, surprising her fans. In an Instagram post on April 7, the 64-year-old comedian disclosed that she had undergone a hysterectomy due to a precancerous condition, without delving into further details. “Happy Monday!” she began. “I had a hysterectomy on Friday, they removed the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. Pre-cancerous, blah blah blah.” Griffin mentioned that she would provide more information on a Patreon account in the future. Expressing a hint of humor, she exclaimed, “Not to be an asshole, but how do I NOT have a reality show to capture all of this??? I mean, you can’t write it. It’s too real. 😂😭🥺”

When asked about her recovery, Griffin confirmed that her tumor had been successfully removed.
