By Nupur Anand and Isla Binnie (Reuters) – JPMorgan Chase, a prominent presence on Wall Street, has directed its employees who are currently operating on hybrid work schedules to return to the office five days a week starting in March. This directive was revealed in an internal memo obtained by Reuters on Friday. The memo, issued by the bank’s operating committee, disclosed that more than half of the employees are already working full-time in the office. JPMorgan boasts a global workforce exceeding 316,000 individuals.
In the memo, the executives emphasized, “Now is the right time to solidify our full-time in-office approach.” They further stated, “We believe this is the optimal strategy to effectively manage the company.” When approached for comment, a JPMorgan spokesperson opted not to provide further details.
