Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson Settle Divorce, But Disagreements Persist!

Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson attended the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on March 12, 2023. They have finalized their divorce, but they are in disagreement over their daughter’s education, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. Turner-Smith filed for divorce from Jackson in October 2023. The couple got married in August 2019 and welcomed their daughter in April 2020.

While the former couple has reached an agreement on their divorce terms, they are still at odds regarding their 4-year-old daughter Juno’s schooling. They have agreed to use a mediator for their 50-50 custody arrangement, with Jackson paying $2,787 in child support and no monthly spousal support, opting for a lump sum instead.

Despite the agreements, Turner-Smith claims that Jackson has not complied with a court order giving her the authority to decide their daughter’s school. Turner-Smith chose a school that she believes will provide a stable and diverse environment for Juno, but Jackson has objected to this decision, citing concerns about the commute time. Turner-Smith is now requesting $75,000 in attorney fees as a result of this disagreement.

Representatives for both Turner-Smith and Jackson have not responded to requests for comment.

Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson announced their separation over a year after Turner-Smith filed for divorce from the Fatal Attraction star in Los Angeles Superior Court on October 1, 2023, following four years of marriage. The couple’s date of separation was noted as September 13, 2023, just four days after celebrating Turner-Smith’s 37th birthday in New York. Turner-Smith and Jackson got married in August 2019 and welcomed their daughter in April 2020.

In December 2024, Turner-Smith claimed in court documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court that Jackson had not paid child support for their daughter since October 2023. Turner-Smith opened up about coparenting with Jackson in a GLAMOUR Woman of the Year cover story in October 2024, highlighting the complexities of navigating this new dynamic.

According to a source, Turner-Smith has decided to move on from the marriage as she and Jackson are on different paths in life. Despite the split, they are committed to coparenting their daughter and ensuring her well-being.
