Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have decided to take their Beverly Hills mansion off the market after failing to find a buyer for a year. A source informed PEOPLE that while they were hoping to sell, they were also hesitant to take a big loss. After lowering the price to attract more interest with no success, they were advised to remove it from the market, a decision they made together.
The real estate market was challenging, especially at that price point, prompting them to wait for a more favorable selling climate. The former couple, who split in 2024 after two years of marriage, initially tried to sell the estate off-market in June of that year. They later publicly listed the home for $68 million in July before reducing the price by $8.5 million to $59.5 million after 10 months with no buyers. As of July 2, public records show the property has been taken off the market.
Lopez and Affleck purchased the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom, 38,000 sq. ft. California home for $60,805,000 in May 2023. The mansion, recently renovated with top-quality amenities such as a bar, sports lounge, gym, and various courts, also features a 12-car garage, guest penthouse, caretaker house, and guardhouse.
Following their divorce, Lopez bought a new home near Los Angeles for around $18 million in March 2025, while Affleck purchased a $20 million property in Brentwood. Affleck’s new neighborhood is known for its family-friendly environment and sophisticated crowd of entertainment industry A-listers.
