As a successful musician, Jelly Roll has been able to provide his children with unique experiences, some of which he wished he could have had when he was a child. On Friday, Jan. 10, the “Son of a Sinner” singer shared a video showcasing one of these experiences with his 8-year-old son, Noah. In the video posted on Instagram, the 40-year-old artist, who transitioned from rapper to country star, introduced Noah to Grave Digger, a renowned monster truck that Jelly Roll had admired in his younger years.
“Are you getting this? Is this not the coolest thing ever?” Jelly Roll asked, addressing the unseen individual filming as he and his son stood near the vehicle. Reflecting on his own past, he remarked, “I could have never gotten this close to Grave Digger. I watched Grave Digger from 180 yards away in the nosebleed section.” Noah then had the opportunity to climb inside the truck at the invitation of one of its drivers. Encouraging his son, Jelly Roll said, “Sit in the seat and look out. Imagine you’re driving that big monster.”
Noah’s response to the experience elicited laughter from those present. “It’s awesome!” he exclaimed. Jelly Roll captioned his post, “Noah got to experience every kid’s dream. @monsterjam y’all are absolutely amazing thank you again.”
