Irresistible Garlic Ciabatta The Ultimate Soup Sidekick!

Ingredients:
– 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, at room temperature
– 3 cloves of garlic, grated
– Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
– 1/2 ciabatta loaf, halved lengthwise
– 4 ounces of low-moisture mozzarella, grated (about 1 cup)

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 425ºF with the rack positioned 5 to 6 inches from the top.
2. In a bowl, combine the butter and grated garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Spread the garlic butter evenly on the cut side of the ciabatta loaf.
4. Place the buttered bread on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown, approximately 7 to 8 minutes.
5. Remove the bread from the oven and evenly distribute the grated mozzarella on top.
6. Return the bread to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted, about 2 to 3 minutes.
7. Switch the oven to broil and broil the bread until the cheese turns golden brown, for about 1 to 2 minutes.
8. Once done, slice the bread into strips and serve immediately.
