The notorious killer has recently confessed to committing the first-degree homicides of Divieon Parker, Renita Bennett, and Reginald Anderson, as well as three charges of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, as confirmed by prosecutors. These three brutal killings have resulted in an additional 159 years behind bars for the perpetrator, according to the prosecutors’ announcement on Friday.
“After a span of five years, we are relieved to finally obtain justice for the multiple victims of Dotson,” stated Regina Lucreziano, Assistant District Attorney for Shelby County. “The cumulative duration of his sentences, stemming from the guilty verdict following a trial and his recent plea agreements, amounts to a staggering 261 years of incarceration. While no sentence can undo the harm caused to the victims’ families, we find solace in knowing that he will no longer pose a danger to our community.”
During the trial, Dotson took the stand in his own defense last year and shockingly referred to himself as a “serial killer,” drawing parallels to the infamous horror character Michael Myers from the “Halloween” film series, as disclosed by the prosecutors.
