It was announced in 2022 that Will Smith's 2007 blockbuster film "I Am Legend" would continue. It was announced that Smith would star with Jordan in the film.
A statement came from Michael B. Jordan about the highly anticipated "I Am Legend 2". Speaking to People, the famous actor explained that the script of I Am Legend 2 is still being written.
"We are making it the best," Jordan said, adding that there is no clear information about when the film will start shooting.
"I'M VERY EXCITED"
Michael B. Jordan said, "There's no release date or anything like that yet. I don't know exactly where we're shooting, but I'm really excited to be in front of the camera with Will Smith. Being able to work with Will as someone I've looked up to for a very long time is something I'm really looking forward to. I'm really excited."
Directed by Francis Lawrence, the film starred Smith as Robert Neville, a US Army virologist living among the ruins of New York City while trying to find a cure for a virus that turns most of humanity into cannibal mutants.
The film topped the US box office with a record gross of $77 million in the interval of 2007 when it was released.
