It is reported that the number of dead as a result of the attack by the Ukrainian army on the center of the Russian city of Belgorod has increased. 

The number of people who lost their lives in the missile attack organized by the Ukrainian army on the Russian city of Belgorod increased to 18 and the number of wounded increased to 111.

The attack damaged civilian infrastructure, including the regional government building and the BelSU Medical School. According to a Kommersant source close to the Russian Investigative Committee, the attack was carried out using multiple launch rocket systems from the Kharkov region, 40 km from Belgorod.

Kremlin spokesman Peskov announced that on Putin's instructions, a team from the Ministry of Health headed by Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko and a group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations flew to the city to provide assistance to the victims.

As a result of the attack, many civilian buildings were damaged and rescue teams continue to remove debris. Russia has called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in response to Russia's attacks on Ukraine, claiming that Ukraine carried out the attack with the support of the UK and the US.

In the statement, it was also stated that the building where nearly 40 civilians lived was damaged after the attack, while rescue teams continue to remove the debris.
