BERLIN (AP) — A Russian oil tanker, suspected to be part of Moscow’s strategy to bypass international sanctions, drifted aimlessly in the Baltic Sea before needing the assistance of a German tugboat on Friday. The Panamanian-flagged vessel, named Eventin, was reportedly transporting 99,000 tons of oil from Russia to Egypt when it lost control for several hours near the German island of Rügen.
