World Bank approves financing for Bangladesh!

The World Bank and Bangladesh have agreed to provide $1.11 billion in financing to improve the country's human development, primary health care and resilience to climate change.

According to a written statement made by the World Bank's office in Dhaka, within the scope of the agreement with Bangladesh, 1.11 billion dollars of financing will be provided to the country. Within the framework of the financing, more than 11 million people will be supported through 5 different projects.

The financing will help the country grow inclusively in Bangladesh in many areas including child development, primary health care, human development and climate resilience.

Abdoulaye Seck, World Bank Director for Bangladesh and Bhutan, said in a statement on the agreement, "These projects will help prepare our children for a brighter future while increasing resilience to climate change."
