The second Barbie movie is a dream!

Barbie fans may be celebrating the fact that the movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling has grossed over 1 billion dollars...

But what we're about to tell you won't make them very happy. Greta Gerwig's new Barbie movie, which was a worldwide hit and seen as a marketing marvel, started rumors that a second movie would be shot with the success it achieved. But unfortunately, the sequel is not as certain as we thought!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Margot Robbie, who is also a producer, does not have a deal for the second movie.

Likewise, it was stated that Ryan Gosling is not interested in the second movie. It is thought that Gosling, who generally does not prefer to take part in sequels, rejected the second Barbie movie.

Warner Bros. is said to be struggling to secure the sequel, and despite negotiations, they have been unable to convince director Greta Gerwig. Another reason for the lack of a potential sequel is the ongoing strike by the writers and actors. While the strikes continue, no deal will be worked out with any of the names involved.

Previously, Gerwig talked about a possible sequel to the record-breaking movie, saying, "This is all I have right now. At the end of every movie I feel like I'm not going to have another idea and I've done everything I wanted to do. I don't want to crush anyone else's dream, but for me right now I'm completely at zero."
