This feature allows the user to continue listening to songs based on their musical tastes. Called "personal recommendations" or "Suggestions", this feature will soon be optional.

MAY BE USEFUL FOR SHARED SPOTIFY ACCOUNTS Users will be able to disable this feature if they wish. The feature will also be useful for shared Spotify features. If you share your Spotify account with someone at home and at work, you can disable suggestions to prevent your music tastes from mixing.

There has been no announcement from Spotify about the new "Turn off recommendations" feature, but according to a Spotify spokesperson, the feature is under evaluation. No explanation was given as to how the song recommendation algorithm would work if this feature is disabled.
