German Chancellor Scholz caught in Covid-19!

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz reported that he tested positive for Covid-19 but will continue to work.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, in his post on social media platform X, stated that the Covid-19 test was positive, that he expects a mild course and that he will continue to work at the desk with isolation measures.

Government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit said that Scholz's face-to-face meetings today and tomorrow, including his planned meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico tomorrow, have been canceled.

Hebestreit emphasized that Chancellor Scholz will continue his official duties via telephone and video conference, but there will be no face-to-face meetings.
