Friends stars say goodbye to Matthew Perry: 'We were devastated'!

"There is so much to say, but right now we need some time to mourn and come to terms with this loss," the stars of Friends said in a statement following Matthew Perry.

Matthew Perry, known for his character 'Chandler Bing' in Friends, died on October 28. After Perry's death, his co-stars made a joint statement.

Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc said in a joint statement to People:

"We are all devastated by the loss of Matthew. We are more than just a cast, we are a family. There is a lot to say, but right now we need some time to mourn and come to terms with this loss."

"In time, we will say as much more as we can. For now, our thoughts and love are with Matty's family, friends and everyone who loved him."

Friends, which began airing in 1994 and centered on the lives of six young friends in New York City, ran until 2004. The final episode of the series was watched by 52.5 million people in the US and was recorded as the most watched TV series episode of the 2000s.
