Bitcoin is now the 10th largest asset by market capitalization, behind Meta Platforms and Nvidia.
Bitcoin has gained momentum against global large-cap stocks, overtaking billionaire investor Warren Buffet's company Berkshire Hathaway. BTC's market capitalization topped $800 billion, surpassing Berkshire Hathaway's $779 billion.
Berkshire Hathaway shares have risen 4.7 percent in the last 30 days and 14.7 percent year-to-date. BTC, on the other hand, has risen nearly 150 percent since January. Testing $ 42,000, BTC saw its highest value since April 2022.
BTC saw an all-time high of $ 69,000 in November 2021, and as of today, it is 38 percent behind the peak.
