March’s Full Moon Horoscope: Eclipse Season Begins!
The eclipse season is here! It all kicks off on March 13 with the arrival of the full moon, which will also be a total lunar eclipse peaking at 11:55 p.m. PT. Known as the Worm Moon, this lunar event is also referred to as a Blood Moon due to its reddish hue caused by its alignment between the Earth and the sun. The moon will be completely obscured by Earth’s shadow, known as the umbra.
The total lunar eclipse is expected to last around 6 hours and 3 minutes, with totality lasting approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes. Approximately 11% of the Earth’s population will have the opportunity to witness the phenomenon from start to finish.
Astrologically, this lunar event holds great significance as the first eclipse in the sign of Virgo since 2016. Positioned at 23 degrees in the Earth sign, celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas suggests that the energy of this event will have a lasting impact on the cosmos.
Opposite Saturn, the lunar event may bring significant challenges for us to confront at this time.
