Durham Police is seeking information following a tragic incident in County Durham involving a four-vehicle collision that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist. The collision, which occurred on the A688 at 18:30 BST on Saturday, involved two motorcycles and two cars. One motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene near Staindrop, while the other sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. The car drivers involved were unharmed. A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.
