Former NFL Star Robert Quinn’s Shocking Arrest in South Carolina!

Former NFL player Robert Quinn was arrested in South Carolina early Friday morning in connection with an alleged hit-and-run crash involving multiple vehicles, as per reports. The former Rams’ defensive end was apprehended by law enforcement in North Charleston at approximately 2 a.m. after purportedly trying to flee the scene of the crash he is accused of causing, according to FOX 4. Online jail records indicate that Quinn, aged 34, was detained at the Charleston County Jail on charges of leaving the scene and reckless driving.

The incident reportedly occurred at a car dealership, where the North Charleston Fire Department first responded, informing police that the individual identified as Quinn seemed to be attempting to depart the scene in a different vehicle. FOX 4 detailed that a pickup truck registered to Quinn collided with a car, leading to a chain reaction that impacted two additional vehicles. Law enforcement stated that video evidence demonstrated Quinn’s truck swerving on the road before eventually entering the dealership premises.

Reports suggest that Quinn displayed visible facial injuries, slurred speech, and allegedly was uncooperative with authorities, eventually being extricated from the vehicle he was in prior to his arrest. This arrest follows a similar incident 18 months prior in August 2023, where Quinn was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run episode involving four cars before eluding the scene, as reported by WMBF. Quinn’s last NFL season was in 2022 after previously playing for the Rams, Dolphins, Cowboys, Bears, and Eagles, with a Super Bowl appearance in 2023.

Robert Quinn, a first-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, spent the majority of his career with the Rams before being traded to the Dolphins in 2018, where he led the team with 6.5 sacks. Following this, he was traded to the Cowboys in the subsequent season, once again leading the team in sacks with 11.5. Quinn later played for the Bears and Eagles, culminating in his Super Bowl appearance in 2023.
