Fires Engulf Thousands in Terrifying Blaze Near Fredericksburg!

Strong winds are fueling wildfires in Texas this weekend. The outbreak of wildfires started on Friday, driven by winds over 30 miles per hour and dry conditions. As of Saturday evening, 10 wildfires remain uncontained across various regions of Texas, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service Incident Viewer. Notable fires include the Crabapple Fire near Fredericksburg, which has burned 8,640 acres without any containment, and the Windmill Fire in Roberts County, which has scorched over 23,000 acres and is 65% contained. Efforts to control the Windmill Fire involved a Texas A&M Forest Service Large Airtanker dropping red retardant over Roberts County. Several other fires are also burning in Texas, with burn bans issued in 130 counties due to the warm and dry conditions.
