Amid their divorce proceedings, ex-couple Laura Prepon and Ben Foster have made serious accusations against each other. The breakdown of their relationship has come to light as they navigate their ongoing divorce battle.
Six months after Foster initially filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences,” Prepon filed an amended complaint on March 18, as per Davidson County Circuit Court records reviewed by USA TODAY. Foster has accused Prepon of “inappropriate marital conduct,” and in response, Prepon has made her own allegations against Foster, according to court records from March 19.
Representatives for Foster and Prepon have been contacted for comment by USA TODAY. The couple, who got married in 2018 after a long-term friendship turned romantic in 2015, have two children together.
In his complaint, Foster did not detail the specifics of Prepon’s alleged conduct but described it as “cruel and inhuman treatment.” He has requested joint custody and specified child support arrangements. In contrast, Prepon has denied Foster’s claims and is seeking to be designated the primary residential parent, stating that they are not suitable to jointly care for their children.
The divorce proceedings continue to unfold as both parties present their sides.
