Exciting News: Introducing Starbucks’ New Beverage Selection!

In a recent update following Starbucks’ January 2025 financial report, the renowned coffee chain has revealed its plans to streamline its menu by 30%. While this optimization process will unfold gradually throughout the year, Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol shared the goal of offering a more refined selection of beverages and food items in the upcoming months.

If you’ve been curious about how this menu revamp might affect your favorite seasonal drinks, fret not. Starbucks is not only bringing back two beloved beverages just in time for Valentine’s Day but also introducing a fresh line of Refreshers.

New Additions to Starbucks’ February Menu

Starting on February 4th, Starbucks will reintroduce the popular Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Crème Frappuccino and the Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cold Brew to its menu. Additionally, the brand will debut its Blackberry Sage Refreshers in three unique variations.

The returning Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Crème Frappuccino features a delightful blend of strawberry puree, Frappuccino chips, milk, and ice, topped with whipped cream and a mocha drizzle. As for the Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cold Brew, it showcases Starbucks’ signature cold brew with vanilla syrup, hazelnut-flavored cold foam, and cookie crumbles.

These limited-time Valentine’s Day specials will be complemented by a new line of themed merchandise at Starbucks locations.

The Blackberry Sage Refreshers mark a significant addition to Starbucks’ beverage lineup, blending the sweet juiciness of blackberries with the earthy notes of sage. These refreshers offer a unique flavor profile that sets them apart from traditional coffee beverages.

Each variety of the Blackberry Sage Refresher—available with water, Lemonade Refresher, or Coconut Milk “Midnight Drink”—contains blackberries, sage, green coffee extract for a caffeine boost, and dried blackberries with a hint of sage.

As someone who had the opportunity to sample these refreshing drinks before they were officially released, here is my candid evaluation.

My Review of Starbucks’ New Blackberry Sage Refreshers

My personal favorite, unsurprisingly, turned out to be the Midnight Drink. I enjoyed the creamy coconut milk, which added a pleasant sweetness and smooth texture to the refresher. While the sage flavor was subtle in this variant, the vibrant blackberry and coconut milk notes took center stage, resulting

I’ll be sipping on a soothing winter blues-busting beverage at Starbucks this month, that is, when I’m not treating myself to their delightful Valentine’s Day offerings. Don’t forget to check out the full article on ALLRECIPES for more details.
