Exciting Announcement: Dominic Fike Set to Reprise Role in Season 3 of ‘Euphoria’

A thrilling update for fans of the hit series “Euphoria” as talented artist Dominic Fike gears up to make a return for the upcoming Season 3. Despite his absence from the initial list of cast members unveiled by HBO, Variety has the exclusive scoop that the beloved “3 Nights” crooner and actor will indeed be back as Elliot in Sam Levinson’s acclaimed high school drama. Sources reveal that Fike is scheduled to film a few scenes for the show in the upcoming week.

As the buzz around “Euphoria” Season 3 intensifies, it was revealed that a stellar lineup of new faces will be joining the cast, including Grammy-winning sensation Rosalía, Super Bowl champion Marshawn Lynch, and the renowned “A Different World” star Kadeem Hardison. Additionally, fresh talents such as Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, and Anna Van Patten will be making their debut on the show.

The returning members of the main cast are set to include fan favorites Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow. Notably, Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry have been promoted to series regulars, while Colman Domingo is confirmed to make a comeback as a guest star. Unfortunately, familiar faces like Nika King, Austin Abrams, Algee Smith, Storm Reid, and Barbie Ferreira will be notably absent from the upcoming season.

Dominic Fike’s portrayal as the guitar-strumming, troubled teenager Elliot in the show’s second season captivated audiences. His character’s complex dynamics with Rue (Zendaya) and Jules (Hunter Schafer) added depth to the narrative, culminating in a poignant musical moment in the Season 2 finale where Elliot showcases his musical prowess. Fike and Zendaya even collaborated on the song “Elliot’s Song,” which was later released on music streaming platforms.

Aside from his remarkable stint on “Euphoria,” Fike has also made waves in the film industry with roles in movies such as “Earth Mama” and “Little Death,” alongside David Schwimmer. His musical endeavors have been equally successful, with recent releases like the EP “14 Minutes” and the full-length album “Sunburn” in 2023. Fike’s versatility extends to crafting original songs for films, including “Mona Lisa” for “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” and “Hey Blondie” for the upcoming “Barbie” soundtrack.
