Teams from all over Florida will compete for the prestigious snakeskin championship belt in a variety of events, such as human beer pong, the eat the butt challenge, mechanical gator riding, and more. “Just when the world thought Floridians couldn’t get any crazier, they proved us wrong. The Florida Man Games are back on March 1, 2025, and the mystery of how it got insured for another round remains unsolved,” a press release obtained by The Florida Times-Union, part of the USA TODAY Network, stated.
“This offbeat competition, where the state’s most unconventional residents shine as athletic gods, is getting even more bizarre with new contests, wilder teams, and a fresh location.”

What to Expect at the Florida Man Games This Year
In the previous year, teams went head-to-head in unique challenges like weaponized pool noodle mud wrestling, an obstacle course inspired by evading arrest, a cash grab in category 5 hurricane winds, and beer belly sumo wrestling. The evading arrest obstacle course will make a comeback in the 2025 games, alongside new challenges such as the Florida sumo cage match and ample space for tailgating. Attendees can also join in the fun with activities like the “Florida Ma’am” pinup contest, chicken bingo, and a mullet competition.
“We anticipate an even larger turnout at this year’s event, so it made sense to relocate to the St. Johns County Fairgrounds, where we’ll have more room, a covered arena, and we’re thrilled to introduce an RV tailgating area this year,” stated Pete Melfi, organizer and founder of the Florida Man Games, in the press release.

Tickets for the day-long event range from $45 to $145 and are available for purchase online. General admission tickets are priced at $45, while VIP tickets are $145.
