In a shocking incident, 27-year-old Trevon Woodards, an ex-convict with a history of criminal offenses, has been arrested for allegedly brutally attacking bride-to-be Canada Rinaldi at her bachelorette party in Dallas. The assault left Rinaldi with a broken nose, three broken teeth, and a serious facial injury. Woodards, who had recently been granted parole, was taken into custody following the March 22 attack, which occurred just four weeks before Rinaldi’s wedding.
The motive behind Woodards’ violent actions remains unclear, as police have not provided any information on the matter. Rinaldi, who was left unconscious and in need of eight stitches on her face, expressed disbelief and shock over the incident, stating, “I just didn’t deserve it.”
Friends of Rinaldi have set up a GoFundMe page to help cover her $10,000 in medical bills resulting from the attack.
They described the assault as turning what should have been a joyous occasion into a nightmare for Rinaldi, who is now focused on healing physically, emotionally, and financially. Despite the ordeal, Rinaldi remains determined to stay positive, stating, “I’ll be okay, but it’s hard. But I’ll be okay.”
