A DoorDash delivery driver in Texas survived a horrifying stabbing incident in Fort Worth on March 31. Jackson Oltmanns, 28, was attacked outside a restaurant by a man he tried to assist. Oltmanns had just finished a delivery in south Fort Worth and was approached by a man in a Waffle House parking lot. The man, identified as Quindarius Cartwright, asked for money, to which Oltmanns offered to buy him food instead. However, as Oltmanns got out of his car, Cartwright stabbed him multiple times and attempted to steal his vehicle. Oltmanns sustained injuries to his face and his car was stolen but later recovered. Cartwright was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. Oltmanns shared his story to caution about being cautious when helping others.
