Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill surprised many by participating in the ATX Sprint Classic meet in Austin, Texas, where he competed in the 100-meter preliminary dash. Despite not facing the Lyles he had expected, Hill managed to outpace Josephus Lyles, the younger brother of Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles, with a personal-best time of 10.10 seconds. Hill finished fourth in a seven-runner heat, only 0.10 seconds behind the first-place finisher, Lawrence Johnson. This event marked Hill’s second race in recent weeks, following his victory at the Last Chance Sprint Series meet in Los Angeles with a time of 10.15 seconds, also a personal best. Although a highly anticipated race between Hill and Noah Lyles was canceled, due to unspecified complications, the 31-year-old athlete remains focused on his upcoming tenth NFL season, his fourth with the Dolphins, where he has achieved impressive career statistics of 11,098 receiving yards and 89 touchdowns.
