"Alex De Minaur announced his withdrawal from Wimbledon after suffering a hip injury in his 4th round match against Arthur Fils," Wimbledon said in a written statement.
The Australian No. 9 seed was due to face Novak Djokovic in the quarterfinals today.
Due to his opponent's injury, the Serbian racket advanced to the semifinals without playing in the quarterfinal match.
