Their romantic journey began when Pataky was introduced to her future husband by his talent agent, sparking an instant connection. By September of that year, they were already a couple and made their first public appearance together at the Opening Gala for the Resnick Pavilion at the Los Angeles Museum of Art. Hemsworth described it as love at first sight, stating that they simply clicked from the moment they met. Their wedding took place just a few months later in Australia, with Hemsworth expressing that it felt right and made sense to them.
