Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany recently welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Golden Raye. This new addition marks the third child for the Mahomes family, as they already have two children named Bronze and Sterling. Mahomes shared his thoughts on expanding their family further, stating, “I’m good with three for right now. We’ll see down the line maybe, but my goal was always three, so we’ve had three, and we’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.”
Reflecting on the birth of their newest family member, Mahomes commended his wife Brittany, saying, “It’s been cool. I mean, I’m just supporting. Brittany crushed it. It’s been cool to welcome another baby girl into our family and see how my other kids react to her and having a baby sister and stuff like that.” He expressed gratitude for being able to witness the birth while football games were on TV, thanks to Brittany accommodating his request to have the games on during the delivery.
As the Mahomes family adjusts to the new addition, Mahomes acknowledged Brittany’s role in managing the household and their children, stating, “I don’t even want to say that because Brittany’s doing everything, so I’m just trying to be supportive.” He appreciated having a bye week to focus on being present during the birth and cherishing the special moments that come with welcoming a new member into the family.
Looking ahead, Mahomes now shifts his focus back to his professional responsibilities on the field as he prepares to lead the Chiefs against the Houston Texans with the potential to advance to the AFC Championship for the seventh consecutive time. Despite the demands of his career, Mahomes remains grateful for the opportunity to support his family during significant milestones like the birth of their daughter.
