A shooting at an alumni event in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Saturday left at least four people injured. The Chattanooga Police Department confirmed that the four individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities did not disclose information about a suspect or any arrests made in connection with the incident. The shooting took place at the Tyner Recreation Complex, where an alumni gathering for former students of Tyner High School was being held. The school, now known as Tyner Middle High Academy, had its original campus replaced earlier this year. The event, with participation from 38 graduating classes, was organized by the Tyner Alumni Association. Eyewitness Jeoff Herman described the chaotic scene as “real bad,” with shots disrupting what had been a joyous occasion. The NBC News request for comment from the alumni association remained unanswered as of Sunday.
