Celebrities seen together at an exclusive awards ceremony

Ali Wong, 42, and Bill Hader, 46, have been romantically involved since 2023 following a brief dating stint in 2022, as reported by People and Entertainment Tonight. The pair has been captured in photographs seated together at various awards shows, but their first official public appearance as a couple was on Saturday’s red carpet.

The comedian and star of “Beef” shares two young daughters, Mari and Nikki, with her ex-husband Justin Hakuta, to whom she was married from 2014 to 2022. On the other hand, Hader has three daughters – Hannah, Harper, and Hayley – with his ex-wife Maggie Carey, with whom he was married from 2006 to 2018.

In her book “Single Lady,” Wong hinted at the details of their courtship without explicitly mentioning the “Barry” actor.

Numerous cameras captured the red carpet moment of Ali Wong and Bill Hader at the Directors Guild Awards.

Wong recounted a phone call she received from an admirer congratulating her on her divorce and expressing his eagerness to pursue a relationship with her. He confessed his long-standing crush on her and his desire for her to be his girlfriend.

During a trip to Europe, the suitor showered her with increasingly elaborate flower arrangements, eliciting differing reactions from her friends – with female friends finding it sweet and male friends expressing concern over his actions. Despite initial reservations, Wong admitted to falling in love with the man who sent the flowers.

Although “Single Lady” did not emerge victorious at the Directors Guild Awards, being overshadowed by Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady,” it had previously secured wins at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards.

The Oscars race took an unexpected turn over the weekend when the stripper fairy tale “Anora” clinched top honors at both the Directors Guild Awards and the Producers Guild Awards, both held on the same evening. The film had already claimed the top prize at the Critics Choice Awards a night before.
