When prompted by Gomez to reveal “who takes the longest showers?” from the question cards, Blanco’s response was unexpected yet intriguing. “Alright, I may not shower daily, but when I do, when I feel like I’ve earned it, I delve deep into contemplation while spending an extended period in the shower,” Blanco confessed. “I make it a point to sit down during every shower session.”

He went on to ask the cameras from Interview, “Have you ever shed tears in the shower? It’s a transformative experience,” before turning to his collaborator on “Loving You.” Inquiring if she sheds tears during showers, Gomez burst into laughter, prompting Blanco to remark, “Sometimes, letting it all out with a good cry is necessary.” Blanco shared that he often has profound realizations about mortality while showering, to which Gomez reacted with surprise.
“No, seriously, I come to terms with the fact that I’ll eventually meet my end, but it hits me in the shower, and then I shed a few tears about it, which eventually dissipates, and then the warm water just makes me feel incredible,” he continued, as Gomez appeared slightly embarrassed.

The duo, who disclosed their engagement last December, revealed the imminent launch of their debut collaborative album, “I Said I Love You First,” in a press release issued on Thursday. The announcement coincided with the release of their track “Scared of Loving You,” a touching indie-pop ballad co-penned by Gomez and produced by Blanco and Finneas.
“The album came about naturally as a result of the creative synergy and comfort they experienced while collaborating, allowing them to craft art that truly mirrors their journey,” a statement regarding the album declared. “It chronicles their entire narrative – from the period before they crossed paths, to falling head over heels, and envisioning what lies ahead.”
Last December, Gomez delighted fans by sharing an Instagram post showcasing a sizable engagement ring on her finger, captioned with, “Forever begins now.” The “Only Murders in the Building” actress also posted snapshots of herself admiring the new sparkler on her left ring finger, exuding pure joy in a selfie and as she sat on a picnic blanket.
