A report has revealed that a 14-year-old boy with autism was allegedly molested by a behavioural therapist during an in-home session.
Salvador Armando Arriaga, the 32-year-old therapist who worked for Behavioral Health Works in Anaheim, was found in a walk-in closet with the teenager, whose trousers had been pulled down. The teenager’s father, who was at home looking after another child at the time, discovered the concerning situation and promptly called the authorities. Arriaga has pleaded not guilty to the charge of committing a lewd and lascivious act on a child under 14. He faces a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison and is currently being held on $1 million bail.
