Caitlin Clark & Napheesa Collier WNBA All-Star Game Captains Revealed by FA!

The WNBA announced on Sunday that Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier will serve as captains for the upcoming All-Star Game next month. Clark received over 1.2 million fan votes, while Collier had just under 1.2 million. Clark, a standout player for the Indiana Fever currently sidelined due to a groin strain, is averaging 18.2 points and a career-high 8.9 assists per game. Collier leads the league in scoring with 24.5 points per game and ranks fourth in rebounding with 8.4 per game.

The All-Star starters were chosen without regard to conference affiliation, with fans, players, and a media panel all having a say in the selection process. The 10 starters will be joined by 13 reserves, selected by the league’s head coaches. Coaches cannot vote for players from their own teams. The All-Star captains will draft their respective rosters from the pool of starters and reserves, with the reserves set to be revealed next Sunday.

The All-Star Game is scheduled for July 19 in Indianapolis.
