Buffalo Bills Seal Massive Deal with CB Christian Benford for 76 Million Over 4 Years!

The Buffalo Bills have secured cornerback Christian Benford with a four-year contract extension worth $76 million, as part of their efforts to retain key young talent. A source familiar with the negotiations confirmed the deal to The Associated Press on Saturday. The source requested anonymity as the team has not officially announced the agreement. The initial report of the signing was made by ESPN.com.
Benford, 24, was drafted in the sixth round from Villanova in 2022 and was set to enter the final year of his rookie contract. The extension will keep him with the Bills through the 2029 season. Benford earned the starting role in his second year with the team, beating out 2022 first-round pick Kaiir Elam, who was recently traded to Dallas. He has recorded five interceptions, including two last season, and has defended 25 passes.
Benford joins a growing list of Bills players who have signed long-term extensions this offseason, including quarterback Josh Allen, receiver Khalil Shakir, linebacker Terell Bernard, and edge-rusher Greg Rousseau.
