Stuart Hand, 38, from Long Ashton, near Bristol, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for committing a series of heinous sexual offenses against a child. The victim, who was subjected to a terrifying ordeal, courageously spoke out years later, leading to Hand’s conviction. The victim described feeling completely traumatized and constantly haunted by the events of that night. Detective Constable Rachel Stephens praised the victim for coming forward and emphasized that society is now safer with Hand in custody. Hand was also issued an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
