Brothers Accused of Multiple Counts in Lawsuits

A series of new lawsuits have emerged, with nearly a dozen additional women stepping forward to accuse at least one of the Alexander brothers of sexual assault. These legal actions have been brought forth in New York and target the well-known real estate magnates Oren, aged 37, and Tal Alexander, aged 38. The third brother, Alon, who is the twin of Oren, is also included in these legal battles. In total, 17 individuals have filed lawsuits against the brothers, with the latest wave of 11 lawsuits garnering attention from notable publications such as The New York Times, NBC News, and HousingWire.

According to reports from The Times and NBC, the recent lawsuits allege that the brothers, originally hailing from Miami Beach, engaged in acts of assault across various locations including New York, Miami, and Moscow. The disturbing incidents detailed in the legal filings are said to have taken place between 2011 and 2019. Prior to these developments, the brothers had already faced federal sex trafficking charges in the Southern District of New York.

While Oren and Tal collaborate in the real estate sector, Alon holds a prominent position at their family’s private security company. Prosecutors have raised serious allegations against the brothers, suggesting that they pursued relationships with women through social circles only to then allegedly assault them. Despite pleading not guilty to the charges, the legal battle continues to unfold.

Deanna Paul, the attorney representing Tal Alexander, has vehemently defended her client, emphasizing that Tal is unfairly targeted by individuals seeking financial gain through fabricated stories. As the legal proceedings progress, it is anticipated that these lawsuits, timed conveniently close to the statute of limitations, will be met with appropriate legal scrutiny.

In a counter statement, Howard Srebnick, the legal counsel for Alon Alexander, has strongly refuted any claims of sexual assault against his client. Meanwhile, the attorney representing Oren Alexander was not immediately available for comment.

An official prosecution filing obtained in January sheds light on the gravity of the accusations, revealing that a staggering number exceeding 40 women have come forward alleging rape or sexual assault by one or more of the Alexander brothers over a period spanning nearly two decades. Shockingly, each brother is reportedly accused of forcible rape by a minimum of 10 women, painting a troubling picture of the allegations leveled against them.
