Surveillance footage released by the NYPD depicts a woman in a pink hooded jacket throwing trash on a Tesla Cybertruck in Brooklyn on April 7, 2025. The woman, identified as Natasha Cohen, allegedly vandalized the vehicle with antisemitic symbols. She was arrested on hate crime charges for leaving a brick scrawled with a swastika and the word “Nazi” on a parked Tesla in a Jewish neighborhood. Cohen, 46, was caught on video throwing items on the Cybertruck before fleeing on a scooter. She was apprehended by detectives from the NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force and charged with aggravated harassment and criminal mischief as hate crimes. Cohen’s arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court is pending. These incidents are part of a series of attacks targeting Tesla owners and dealerships across the country, purportedly in opposition to CEO Elon Musk’s government role. In a separate incident on March 27, vandals were recorded carving antisemitic symbols on a Cybertruck parked in Bed-Stuy, yet no arrests have been made in that case.
