A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner passenger plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Natal Airport in northeastern Brazil. Images of panicked and screaming people on board the plane, which took off from Madrid, were shared on social media.

Flight UX045 requested an emergency landing at Natal Airport in northeastern Brazil.

A plane will leave Madrid this afternoon to pick up the passengers and continue the journey to Uruguay."
