Bayern’s Rising Star Musiala Sidelined with Torn Hamstring Ahead of Champions League Quarterfinals!

“Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala ruled out of key match with hamstring injury”

MUNICH (AP) — Bayern Munich’s attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala will miss the upcoming Champions League quarterfinal match against Inter Milan due to a torn hamstring. The club confirmed that a scan revealed a muscle tear in Musiala’s left hamstring following Bayern’s 3-1 victory over Augsburg in the Bundesliga on Friday. Bayern announced that Musiala will be sidelined indefinitely, without providing further details on Saturday.

Musiala scored Bayern’s first goal to equalize the game before being forced off with the injury early in the second half. This setback could lead to increased playing time for veteran Thomas Müller, who came on as a substitute for Musiala and recently announced his departure from Bayern at the end of the season.

Bayern will face Inter in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals on Tuesday, with the second leg scheduled for April 16.
