A Green Bay, Wisconsin hospital is experiencing its own baby boom! HSHS St. Vincent Hospital revealed on Tuesday that 14 of its maternity nurses are expecting, just in time for National Nurses Week and ahead of Mother’s Day. Amy Bardon, director of the Women and Infants Center at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, described the moment as “incredible” and full-circle, as many of the nurses are soon-to-be first-time mothers. She expressed excitement for the nurses and their upcoming journeys into motherhood, wishing them a special Nurses Week and Mother’s Day. The hospital highlighted that the nurses at the Women and Infants Center are not only skilled clinicians but also educators, advocates, and trusted partners for new parents. Bardon mentioned that when the time comes, the expecting nurses will be supported by their colleagues, creating a sense of comfort and community.
