This marked the fourth time this season that both Hamby and Stevens scored over 20 points in a game. Odyssey Sims, who had scored 32 points in the previous game against Phoenix, added 19 points and three 3-pointers for the Sparks.
The Sparks took a 45-40 lead at halftime, with Sims making a crucial three-point play right before the break. The team continued their strong performance into the second half, starting the third quarter with a 6-0 run and extending it to a 9-0 run at the beginning of the fourth quarter, building a 76-55 lead. Stevens hit her career-high fifth 3-pointer with just under five minutes left in the game.
Kelsey Plum contributed with 11 points, five rebounds, and nine assists, while Rickea Jackson added 10 points for the Sparks.
