This marked the fourth time this season that both Hamby and Stevens scored over 20 points in a game. Odyssey Sims, who had scored 32 points in the previous game against Phoenix, added 19 points and three 3-pointers for the Sparks.
The Sparks took a 45-40 lead at halftime, with Sims making a crucial three-point play right before the break. The team continued their strong performance into the second half, starting the third quarter with a 6-0 run and extending it to a 9-0 run at the beginning of the fourth quarter, building a 76-55 lead. Stevens hit her career-high fifth 3-pointer with just under five minutes left in the game.
Kelsey Plum contributed with 11 points, five rebounds, and nine assists, while Rickea Jackson added 10 points for the Sparks. On the opposing side, DiJonai Carrington led Dallas with 16 points, followed by JJ Quinerly with a career-high 14 points. Luisa Geiselsoder recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Kaila Charles chipped in with 10 points.
Dallas, who has now suffered four consecutive losses, allowed over 90 points in three of those games.
