There was an armed attack at Karlova University in Prague. At least 10 people were allegedly killed in the attack and there are wounded.
Interior Minister Rakusan said that the person who opened fire was killed. Rakusan said there were no other attackers at the scene and there was no imminent danger.
Police said security measures have been raised to the highest level due to the shooting at the university in Jan Palach Square.
"The entire building is currently being evacuated, there are several dead and dozens injured at the scene," police said in a statement from X. However, police sources did not give a clear figure.
Prague Mayor Bohuslav Svoboda also said that the Karlova University in the square was evacuated.
