Police in Arizona are currently investigating the disappearance of an Arizona mother, which has sparked a police investigation. The tragic incident involved the discovery of a husband, wife, and their daughter who were all found shot to death in their home. The authorities believe it to be a probable homicide-suicide case. The bodies of Tod Daniel Lonergan, 51, Lisa Kay Lonergan, 46, and their 15-year-old daughter, Sophia Brin Lonergan, were found in their residence in a gated community near Indian Bend Road and Via De La Sendero. All three family members suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The investigation was initiated after a concerned coworker of one of the victims reported the family’s absence to the police. The police discovered the bodies after responding to the call and locating the victims inside the house. Tod Lonergan’s cause of death was determined to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, while Lisa and Sophia were ruled to be victims of homicide by the medical examiner’s office. The case is still under active investigation and is being treated as a probable homicide-suicide.
