Antonio’s Terrifying Near-Death Experience in Car Crash at West Ham!

West Ham striker Michail Antonio is confident he will make a full recovery after a car crash that left him with a severely injured leg and a close brush with death. The incident occurred when Antonio’s Ferrari collided with a tree just outside London on a rainy day in December. The Jamaica international fractured his femur in four places and underwent surgery to insert a pole with four bolts in his thigh. Despite the challenges, Antonio, who recently turned 35, remains determined to return to the field. His rehabilitation is expected to take between six to twelve months, but he believes he is making good progress. Reflecting on the accident, Antonio visited the remains of his car at a scrapyard, which reinforced how fortunate he was to survive. With a renewed appreciation for life, Antonio is grateful for the opportunity to be there for his six children and is looking forward to getting back to playing the sport he loves. Antonio has been a key player for West Ham since 2015, making over 300 appearances for the club before the setback.
