Alabama’s Jalen Milroe Stuns with Blazing 40 Time at Pro Day; Steelers Front and Center!

During the Crimson Tide pro day in Tuscaloosa, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe impressed with a 40-yard dash time in the 4.5-second range, according to NFL Network. Some observers even clocked him as fast as 4.37 seconds on his initial attempt. Milroe showcased his strong arm but questions lingered about his accuracy on short throws and ball placement in between the second and third levels. Despite concerns, he holds a second-round grade from Field Level Media after a successful college career at Alabama, where he recorded 33 rushing touchdowns and threw 45 touchdown passes.

Milroe chose not to run the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis but clocked a time using handheld devices at the pro day. Meanwhile, linebacker Jihaad Campbell, a projected first-rounder, revealed he had undergone shoulder surgery for a labrum tear. Campbell, along with offensive guard Tyler Booker, is expected to go in the first round of the upcoming NFL draft.

With scouts from all teams present, Milroe’s speed was a highlight, especially with other notable QB prospects in attendance. He met with Pittsburgh Steelers’ general manager and head coach before his workout, sparking speculation about a possible move to the team. The session was closely watched as reports swirled around the potential addition of free agent Aaron Rodgers to the Steelers.
