Alabama Man Accused of Fatally Shooting His Older Sister Multiple Times in an Argument!

A man in Alabama has been charged with murder following a deadly altercation with his sister. The Hoover Police Department reported that officers responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on Jasmine Way in Hoover. The suspect, 40-year-old Jonathan Arthur Barclay, was detained by an off-duty law enforcement officer who was nearby at the time of the incident. Court records show that Jonathan is the homeowner. His sister, 55-year-old Rosalind Barclay, was found outside the home with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at UAB Hospital. Detectives determined that an argument between the siblings escalated, leading Jonathan to shoot his sister multiple times. The reason for the argument is currently unknown. Jonathan has been charged with murder and is held without bail at Hoover City Jail, pending transfer to Jefferson County Jail once weather conditions allow. This incident marks the first murder of the year in Hoover.
